man is made out of two vastly different, yet primordial components, essence and appearance, but it is often hard to distinguish the relationship between the two. how deep do you have go within the appearance to reach its essence? the two entities are represented individually in hopes that they become easier to comprehend. the body is shed of all meaning and even though it is naked, it holds no level of intimacy, no emotion and the viewer is not intruding in any way. it is but a mere carcass that holds and sustains the essence that is in motion, dynamic and hard to see clearly.
